Research on current situation and countermeasures of library development in China

Abstract

The 21st century is the era of rapid development of information, and the library is the center of information resources, the main force of China’s socialist cultural system. Facing the age of information network, library science still relies on the traditional way of resource management and information retrieval. What we should pay attention to is how to make the contemporary library adapt to the information age, complete its upgrading and transformation, and become the backbone of China’s cultural construction. From the current situation of my library and the bottleneck of its development in the current era, this paper further discusses its future development trend, lists some problems and puts forward solutions to help reshape its cultural dominant position.
